“Riyadh Airports” Launched Curbside Check-in Service at KKIA

Riyadh Airports Company has launched a curbside check-in service for the international flights at King Khaled International Airport, allowing passengers to get their boarding passes and handover luggage at counters outside of the airport’s terminals 1 and 2.

At the curbside check in, airlines operating from King Khaled International Airport will be able to provide their passengers with a full service completing all the traveling procedures. Passengers can now communicate with their air carriers when booking the ticket to know if their airlines are serving outside at the curbside check in.

The curbside check-in service is designed to speed up the traveling procedures for passengers, especially during the seasons and holidays. According to “Riyadh Airports”, the new service will help meet the increasing demands and continuous growth of the number of international flights operating from KKIA in Riyadh.

Each counter consists of a reception hall with a number of counters equipped with a luggage weighing service, boarding passes issuance, and a conveyor belt system especially designed to transport luggage to the service floor.

“Riyadh Airports” is currently managing and operating King Khalid international Airport. The company has announced plans of developing new services towards enhancing the passenger traveling experience, and providing distinctive services.
